The history of Answering Service Care

Shoosters Gas Station - Chester PA

Herman Shooster started working at the age of 12 pumping gas at his father's gas station in Chester, Pennsylvania. He served honorably as a Medic in the Pacific during World War II. When the war ended, Herman earned a B.A. in Marketing from Temple University. He's been an entrepreneur ever since.

Shoosters Restaurant - Chester PALong before anyone ever heard of McDonalds, Herman’s dad and brothers built a fast food restaurant. (If only they had thought franchising!) Then they expanded it into a drive-in restaurant, complete with a dance floor and radio station and live music. Think “Grease”, remember "Rock Around the Clock" by Bill Haley and the Comets? That was a regular gig. Shooster's restaurant was one of the places where rock music was born. The State bought them and used the land to build a bridge across the Delaware River.

Ding-A-Ling Telephone Answering Servicehe moved to Florida with his wife and kids, where he acquired a Telephone Answering Service business named Ding-a-Ling Telephone Answering Service. Ding-A-Ling is a great name for folks who seek a more personal, experience. Next we added a Contact center division specializing in e-commerce and fulfillment services. That division became Global Response.

We still maintain the warm, friendly, jovial disposition of Ding-a-Ling Telephone Answering Services, marketed under the name Answering Service Care. With advanced and innovative Telephone Answering Services that meet the needs of the most demanding and sophisticated companies Ding-A-Ling is still alive and kicking and you can expect more from her very soon.
